The Company:
ER Recruitment are excited to be working exclusively with an established and growing manufacturer in the fenestration industry. With an excellent reputation and a clear focus on growth, they are now seeking an experienced New Build Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to business expansion by pursuing potential new projects and partnerships.
Role & Responsibilities of the New Build Business Development Manager:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with regional housebuilders and developers
- Secure new business opportunities while nurturing current accounts to increase revenue
- Liaise with internal estimating and operations teams to ensure tenders are accurately prepared and delivered on time
- Follow up on all submitted tenders to maximise order conversion
- Drive upselling opportunities for the full product portfolio
- Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and ensure accurate recording in the company CRM
- Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of competitors and market trends
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, KPIs, and client meetings
- Represent the company at meetings, client visits, and relevant industry events
About You as the New Build Business Development Manager:
- Experienced in fenestration, ideally with a strong knowledge of uPVC and aluminium products
- Proven track record of success in a New Home Build sales role
- Skilled in developing new business and maintaining key client relationships
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong understanding of the full sales cycle including tendering processes
- Commercially minded with the ability to analyse sales data and adapt strategy
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across departments
- Flexible, proactive, and goal-oriented
