Data Systems Manager – Hybrid – Edinburgh/Glasgow – Inside IR35

Day Rate – £270

Duration – 3 months

Harvey Nash\’s Public Sector Client are hiring a contract Data Systems Manager, this role is critical in ensuring core data is collected to support the implementation of Point of Care (PoC) scanning as part of the role out of the national Inventory Management System and will be a key contributor to shaping the delivery of this wide-ranging programme of transformational change.

You will be responsible for data collection, data extraction, data analysis and dissemination in support of the implementation of systems.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience as an Inventory / Material Control professional.
  • Skills in data collection, extraction, analysis and dissemination of product and stock management information.
  • Analytical skills
  • Technical knowledge of mainstream commercial e-Procurement, Logistics, Finance and associated solutions

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Evidence of excellent organisation skills and communication skills with both technical and non-technical people
  • Ability to effectively pass on knowledge to Health Board department staff and strengthen their awareness of the inventory management computer system and related processes
  • Pro-actively manage and prioritise own workload.
  • Ability to reassign priorities to meet deadlines in a changing environment
  • Self-motivation and ability to think logically
