Biology Teacher – Glossop
Location: Glossop, Derbyshire

Hours: 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday
Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Glossop area. This full-time position will commence in September 2025 and is offered on a temporary basis for one academic year, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent from September 2026.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and well-structured KS3 and KS4 Biology lessons, inspiring students to develop a love for science and achieve their academic potential. Requirements:
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold QTS or equivalent and a relevant Science degree
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced Child Barred List DBS registered with the Update Service
Provide two recent and relevant teaching references
Have up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training (training can be provided)
Be willing to complete all necessary vetting checks and register with Prospero Teaching
