Hain are currently recruiting for a Raw Materials Controller at our Clitheroe site. In Clitheroe, we proudly manufacture traditional hot puddings under our Farmhouse Fare brand, as well as private label puddings for leading UK retailers.

As Raw Materials Controller, you will play a fundamental role in maintaining the smooth flow of raw materials – especially fruits – into the site. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to keep production running efficiently, avoiding downtime and minimizing waste.

You’ll work closely with suppliers and internal departments such as Planning, Goods In, and Warehouse to maintain stock accuracy, raise purchase orders, and support the Planning Manager in daily supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order and manage supply of fruits and raw materials

  • Raise purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve material issues

  • Maintain optimal stock levels, avoiding downtime or overstocking

  • Understand and monitor chilled/warehouse capacities

  • Maintain delists and obsolete product trackers

  • Support APS compliance and purchase order processes

  • Provide supply chain cover including short-term planning and production scheduling

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships

  • Contribute to food safety and health & safety reporting

  • Update and maintain BOM data in MOVEX and assist with system accuracy

What You Will Need for the Role

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG supply chain or materials management
  • Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with MOVEX or similar AS400-based systems

  • Ability to work under pressure and flex between tasks

  • Commercial awareness and understanding of financial impact of supply decisions

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and occasionally across multiple sites
