Senior Product Designer – PerfectScale by DoiT
Location: This role is based remotely as a full-time employee in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Estonia, Israel, the Netherlands or Spain. We are also open to contractors in East Europe and Portugal.
DoiT is a global technology company that helps cloud-driven organizations leverage the cloud to drive business growth and innovation. We combine data, technology, and human expertise to ensure customers operate in a well-architected and scalable state from planning to production. We offer PerfectScale, a Kubernetes optimization and management solution for DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering teams, with an autonomous optimization engine and intuitive UI.
The Senior Digital Product Designer will join the PerfectScale by DoiT team and contribute to the creation of intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital product experiences. Responsibilities include applying modern Product Design methodologies to design artifacts (flows, journeys, wires, mocks, prototypes, specs) and collaborating closely with product management and engineering to bring designs to life. The role spans from conceptualization to implementation, with a focus on improving key metrics through user experience and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to execute and deliver PerfectScale products using a customer-focused, iterative design process.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, PMM, and research to develop impactful, user-centric, and data-informed solutions.
- Partner with engineers during implementation and quality assurance phases.
- Design user-centered artifacts based on research and insights, including flows, journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications.
- Participate in design critique and usability testing; iterate on designs based on feedback.
- Advocate for users to ensure a high-quality user experience.
- Develop and maintain the design system using current industry practices.
Key Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience designing for consumer-facing digital product experiences.
- Ability to think differently and challenge conventional design approaches.
- Expertise in multiple areas of Digital Product Design (Interaction Design, Service Design, Information Architecture, Visual Design, Prototyping, Research).
- Mastery of Figma and various prototyping tools.
- Experience producing high-quality design artifacts (flow diagrams, journey maps, wireframes, lo/hi-fi mockups, prototypes, specifications).
- Proven experience leading Design System initiatives and knowledge of Design Systems best practices.
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication; strong presentation skills.
- Experience working on high-performing teams with designers, product managers, engineers, and leaders.
