Do you have experience in a plant and tool environment? Have you worked with machinery such as excavators, rollers, telehandlers, dumpers and trailers? If so, we have an opportunity to join our Fleet Hire team, based in Somerset covering Taunton and the surrounding areas.
What you\’ll do
You will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying plant and tool faults, ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained.
You will also ensure the effective servicing, fault diagnosis and repair work of equipment to maintain current standards, while also submitting clear, concise and accurate reports of work carried out and time spent on tasks.
What you\’ll need
You will need to be mechanically minded with a positive attitude towards servicing, maintaining, finding faults and diagnostics on a variety of diesel, petrol and electrical plant and tool hire items, both on site and in our workshop.
You will also need:
- to have a relevant mechanical/electrical qualification
- to hold a valid driving licence (a vehicle will be provided)
- PAT testing experience
- theability to tow (desirable).
