Manchester University seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Cross Country/Track & Field Assistant Coach to support the success of our NCAA Division III program. Join a team that values integrity, development, and the pursuit of excellence.

What You\’ll Do:

  • Support student-athlete academic success, eligibility, and retention.

  • Assist in all recruitment efforts, working closely with admissions.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and development-focused team culture.

  • Help coordinate practice sessions, meet schedules, travel, and logistics.

  • Maintain and track program budgets, equipment, and inventory.

  • Comply with NCAA, HCAC, and institutional guidelines.

  • Participate in department meetings, university events, and fundraising.

What You\’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Previous coaching and/or playing experience, preferably at the NCAA Division III level.

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.

  • Valid CPR/AED First Aid certification (available on-site).

  • Valid driver’s license (for team travel).

  • Successful completion of NCAA Division III Rules Test.
