What difference will you make?
We are seeking someone to take on the role of Team Guide (referred to as Internal Coordinator in XR) to coordinate the Community Assemblies group. Your input will help the team be effective and support its growth. More widely, you\’ll be contributing to help bring positive change for the grassroots on climate change and ecological justice.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 3 years experience in either team coordinator / management and / or project management.
- Essential: Good team builder, proactive, good organisational, planning and communication skills, willingness to learn new digital tools/platforms.
- Desirable: An understanding of assemblies, deliberative democracy and familiarity with XR platforms.
What will you be doing?
- Ensure the team is healthy and achieves its mandate.
- Steward the team’s immediate and longer-term priorities, and align its work with the broader circle’s plan.
- Propose roles and projects the team needs to fulfil its purpose and accountabilities.
- Support the work of role-holders and sub-circles, and review their work at regular intervals.
- Fill team roles without extended delay, or propose they are dissolved if no longer needed.
- Invite people with relevant skills and abilities to join the team as required.
- Maintain an awareness of the policies of the team and its broader circles.
- Maintain an awareness of what is happening in the wider organism, and communicate regularly with the team\’s Connector (External Coordinator in XR).
