Position Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Chauffeur and Concierge to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional transportation and concierge services to our clients, ensuring their experience is seamless, luxurious, and unforgettable. This role requires outstanding customer service skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Chauffeur Services:
• Safely and efficiently transport clients in luxury vehicles to and from golf courses, hotels, airports, restaurants, and other destinations.
• Maintain a clean, polished, and fully operational vehicle at all times.
• Exhibit professional etiquette and discretion while interacting with clients.
2. Concierge Services:
• Provide personalised recommendations and make arrangements for dining, entertainment, and local attractions based on client preferences.
• Assist with tee time reservations, itinerary adjustments, and special requests.
• Anticipate and address client needs to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
3. Client Relations:
• Act as a friendly and knowledgeable ambassador for St Andrews and Scotland’s golfing heritage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing a warm and welcoming experience from start to finish.
4. Administrative Tasks:
• Maintain accurate schedules and itineraries for client journeys.
• Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure timely and coordinated services.
• Handle any issues or changes with professionalism and efficiency.
Ideal Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven experience as a chauffeur, concierge, or in a similar luxury service role.
• Experience driving a minibus with D1 on license (not essential)
• A clean and valid driver’s license with excellent driving skills.
• Knowledge of the key golfing locations in Scotland, including golf courses, hotels, restaurants, and local attractions.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Professional appearance and demeanour.
• A passion for golf and understanding of its culture is highly desirable.
