As a Senior Ground Systems Engineer, you’ll play a leading role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge ground segment systems—from conceptual design to operational maintenance.
This role combines technical expertise, mentorship, and high levels of autonomy, contributing to ground-breaking space missions that support a safer and more sustainable future in orbit.
What You’ll Do:
🔹 Lead the development & integration of mission-critical ground systems
🔹 Troubleshoot, test, and refine ground segment functionality
🔹 Capture & analyse system requirements, ensuring seamless integration
🔹 Collaborate across IT, operations, and infrastructure teams
🔹 Support mission operations with technical expertise & training
🔹 Follow Agile (SCRUM) methodologies & contribute to RFP evaluations
What We’re Looking For:
✅ 3+ years’ experience in ground segment development for space missions
✅ Strong knowledge of mission control, automation & planning systems
✅ Familiarity with CCSDS standards & space-to-ground communications
✅ Experience in requirement engineering & testing campaigns
✅ Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Engineering
✅ A proactive, team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
