Job Description

SureSkills is an edtech services company that specializes in the creation of engaging and impactful e-learning experiences that empower learners and drives organizational growth.

SureSkills are the market leaders in the creation of technical education programmes. We work with companies like Google, AWS, Microsoft, VMware, Meta and Coursera to create their education programmes. Most programmes that we develop include hand-on labs to support the learner in their journey towards mastery of their new subjects.

Our Training and Certification division are currently looking to hire a full-time Microsoft Trainer to be based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced trainer that possess experience training across the suite of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Platform etc.

We are also interested in hearing from applicants who have a technical education and work experience who are interested in becoming a Trainer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver training programs on Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Conduct both virtual and onsite training sessions tailored to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and adapt course materials, manuals, and exercises to ensure engaging and effective training.
  • Assess learners' progress through quizzes, assignments, and feedback sessions.
  • Provide post-training support and mentorship to customers to ensure knowledge retention and application.
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously improve training content based on feedback and technology updates.
  • Stay current on Microsoft product updates, features, and best practices to deliver relevant and impactful training.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Microsoft Trainer with expertise across the Microsoft Office Suite and applications like Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Experience conducting training sessions both virtually and onsite.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
  • Ability to customize training approaches based on customer requirements and skill levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with learners.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MOS, MCT, or other relevant certifications) are highly desirable.
  • A formal qualification in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.
