Class 1 Driver needed in Gloucester, Paying £16.89ph. Ongoing fixed days to complete a double run on a daily basis, starting around midday between 11:00 and 13:00 working until finish, Monday to Friday, Free on-site parking, possible temp to perm for the right candidate. (NEW PASS DRIVERS WELCOME)
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be required to:
- Be available for a Monday to Friday, happy with starting around midday
- Loading and unloading deliveries into customer\’s premise if not forklifted off
- Fully fit and able to move pallets and move customer goods
- Always demonstrating good health and safety practices
- Ensuring good housekeeping at each delivery
- Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and trailers and notify any defects
What We’re Looking For:
- Hold a full in date UK Class 1 (C+E) driving license
- Hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- Maximum of 9 points for minor endorsements
- Over the age of 21 with 1 year driving experience
- Be able to read delivery notes and communicate with customers on delivery
