We’re looking for someone who can commute to Tamworth, who is available to work between Sunday and Thursday nights each week for ongoing long-term driving work.
Shift pattern:
* Full-time ongoing
* 5-6 nights per week between Sunday and Thursday
* Option of working every other Friday as a sixth shift (overtime paid)
* Start times ranging between 21.00 pm – 01.00 am
Salary:
* £19.75 – £28.00 per hour – plus holiday pay (accrued at a rate of 12.07%)
About the company:
Our client sits in the heart of the automotive aftermarket, supplying an unraveled range of vehicle parts to over 18,000 customers through a world class logistics operation in the UK and Ireland.
As a Kenect Recruitment Class 1 Driver, you’ll be passionate about high-quality customer service for our valued client and their customers.
Typical responsibilities shall include:
* Delivery of automotive parts and products
* Delivering to stores, retail outlets and distribution centres
* Typically 3-4 deliveries per shift
* Rolling cages on and off the trailer including some heavy items such as car engines
* Optional nights out available with allowance paid
* As a key holder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the stores
* Full training / buddy scheme provided

* Must have held a valid UK LGV1 licence for a minimum of 6 months
* Must have no more than 6 points on licence for minor offences
* Must be willing to attend an unpaid assessment prior to starting
