Role Purpose
Caniad is a North Wales substance use and mental health service user and carer involvement project, hosted by Adferiad. Caniad works with people with lived experience of accessing mental health and/or substance misuse services, the health board, and the Area Planning Board to plan, develop and improve mental health services.
The Team Leader will support the Service Manager by ensuring all Caniad Coordinators’ duties are complete and accurate, as well as the delivery of the Caniad service in the Conwy and Denbighshire area. The Team Leader will support and work as part of a team to facilitate involvement opportunities for a range of people who have recent experience of Mental Health services.
The project will identify involvement opportunities for service users and carers, facilitate and attend meetings and events, recruit new Caniad Involvers (clients), support provision of relevant training and IT support, reimburse expenses, and administer the project’s time banking scheme.
