Overview

We are seeking flexible and confident Cover Supervisor for daily supply work in secondary schools around the Witney area, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task with pre-set work
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Provide support to students where needed and encourage positive engagement
  • Report back to teaching staff on student progress and any issues encountered
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom routines
  • Uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times

Qualifications

  • Has at least 6 months of experience working in a school or classroom setting
  • Demonstrates confidence in managing behaviour and leading a class independently
  • Is adaptable, reliable, and professional in a variety of school environments
  • Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
