Overview
We are looking for a Quality Auditor to join our Kirkby site. This position is a broad role within an environment where we produce and package a range of butters, spreads, and oils. Responsibilities include quality control of raw materials, conducting checks and audits across the site, and conducting taste panels. The role will work across the production and laboratory environments.
Shift Pattern: Working shifts that incorporate a roster covering night shift, weekend working and bank holidays as per business requirements.
Salary: Full Time, Permanent £31,346.28 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Conduct tests, take samples and swabs, and perform environmental sampling.
- Maintain site CCPs.
- Conduct audits including BRC, GMP, glass & plastic and retailer.
- Work closely with other departments (including operations/production and engineering).
- Support NPD activities.
- Ensure the QMS is up to date, complete reports, and identify and communicate any trends.
Qualifications
- A strong communicator, able to work with colleagues of all levels.
- Experience conducting internal and external audits.
- Experience working within a food production environment; experience with packaging processes is great.
- Knowledgeable with current UK regulations and legislation.
