Willo Education is currently working with a large SEN Secondary School in the Selly Oak area who are on the lookout for a strong SEN Teacher to work with students across KS3 and KS4 on full time and long term basis. About the Role: The successful SEN / SEND Teacher will be supporting students aged between 11 and 16 years old (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4) with a variety of needs including, Autism, ADHD, Attachment & Trauma Anxiety and SEMH. Whilst you will have the full support of your new Team, you will have the autonomy to help create resources, build upon individual learning plans, and identify and implement creative ways to encourage learning inside and outside of the classroom. You will need to be able to plan, prepare and deliver lesson of all abilities and be adaptable with you approach. About You: The school is looking for an enthusiastic team member who is proactive, well-organised, and flexible. You must be empathetic and a team player to provide educational support to pupils alongside providing personal care if ever needed. You will understand the importance of a person-centered approach to teaching and learning and will ensure the student’s learning is a positive experience. To Apply for this role, you must have the following: * Right to work in the UK * Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one. * Hold QTS and have experience working with children who have SEN / SEND * Proactive and well-organised Team player * Team Teach/NAPPI training – highly desirable but not essential Willo Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expects every candidate to share this commitment.
