We are seeking a highly organised, proactive freelance production assistant to support our growing audiobook and ADR/voiceover operations. This role involves direct communication with publishers, editors, narrators, agents, and production teams, and plays a key part in ensuring projects run smoothly from initial briefing through to delivery.
The position is ideal for someone with prior experience in post-production, voiceover, or publishing environments who is confident managing multiple communication threads, coordinating assets, and maintaining accuracy across production workflows.
The role will begin on a freelance basis, with the intention to transition into a longer-term or permanent arrangement over the coming months.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary liaison between the studio and external partners, including publishers, editors, narrators, agents, and production contacts
• Distribute technical specifications, NDAs, rate cards, and session logistics for ADR and voiceover projects
• Proactively follow up on outstanding assets, including scripts, cue sheets, and reference materials
• Input and update project data accurately within our ClickUp task management system
• Raise and manage invoices using Xero, and ensure timely payment tracking
• Coordinate session logistics and ensure all stakeholders are briefed and aligned
• Maintain clarity and professionalism across all communications, with a strong focus on detail and timeliness
Candidate Profile:
• Proven experience in a production, publishing, voiceover, or post-production environment
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage shifting priorities
• Confident, professional communicator with excellent written English
• Proactive and self-sufficient, able to take ownership of tasks and follow through independently
• Familiarity with tools such as Xero, Google Workspace, and ClickUp (or similar task management systems)
• Comfortable working in a remote environment and managing multiple concurrent projects
• Freelance position, with a view to evolving into a longer-term or permanent role
• Fully remote; UK-based candidates are preferred for timezone alignment
• Flexible working hours depending on project requirements
• Monthly invoicing arrangement
