Panel Wirer / Electrical Assembler – Switchgear & Control Wiring (Contract)
Overview: We’re recruiting for an experienced Panel Wirer / Electrical Assembler to join a well-established team in West Sussex on a short-term contract basis. The role focuses on switchgear assembly and control wiring for bespoke industrial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly of switchgear panels and enclosures to engineering specifications
Execution of precise control wiring in accordance with schematics and layout drawings
Inspection and testing of completed assemblies to ensure quality and compliance
Collaboration with engineering and production teams to meet build deadlines
Maintenance of clean and safe working practices in line with health & safety standards
Requirements:
Proven experience in switchgear assembly and control/panel wiring
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and methodical working style
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (desirable but not essential)
