Our client is a multi-award winning Structural Waterproofing contractor based in Henley-on-Thames. Their dedication to delivering the highest quality service sets us apart. The role
Our client\’s experienced in-house surveying team designs solutions that protect structures and buildings from the effects of water ingress. Your role, as part of a dedicated team of skilled operatives, will be to install these specified systems.
This position does require travel to our project sites which are both local and further afield including London. You will need to be based within an accessible distance of Henley. Operatives usually meet at 6.30am to get to site by 8am and work until 4.30pm. If local, the morning start is later. Days vary in length and sometimes they are home earlier, but they do need keen workers who are keen to build careers and learn.
This is very much a family company, and they treat people fairly and generously.
About you:
- Construction site experience and a good understanding of construction sequencing.
- Multi skills – basic plumbing, basic electrical, basic carpentry preferred but will always consider those that are less experienced with a good work ethic, a good attitude, and a desire to work hard and build a career.
- A passion to learn and a hard-working attitude.
- Forward thinking and a careful planner around projects.
- Punctuality to site and organised time management across the day.
- Ability to quality control of works.
Happy to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and pride in work.
- Full clean driving licence essential and willingness to travel.
- Good spoken English, reading ability and communication skills
- Current CSCS Card (preferred)
- Health & Safety compliance (preferred)
- A standard DBS check will be conducted on operatives.
