IPS Group is partnering with a high profile Global Insurer who have an opportunity to join them in this newly created position which will have a tangible impact on how they write their business.
This is a unique and strategically important opportunity for an experienced Underwriter or BDM to take on a newly created role focused on elevating service for high-value commercial clients, those typically with premiums over £100k across a broad range of lines. Whether you’re a development-focused Underwriter or a Broker Relationship Manager with strong technical foundations, this role offers the best of both worlds: underwriting authority, direct client ownership, and strategic influence.
You’ll lead key relationships for complex accounts, particularly those approaching renewal where retention is critical. With the authority to make commercial decisions at pace, you’ll act as a trusted point of contact for both clients and brokers building and negotiating long-term partnerships, not just handling transactions.
Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You’ll work closely with internal underwriting teams to ensure a smooth, joined-up experience across the lifecycle of each account.

You’ll have the opportunity to define what “great” looks like in large-client service, with genuine backing from leadership and the autonomy to make things happen.
