On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator on an initial 4 -month contract. As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will have the accountability to monitor the delivery of the right part at the right time at the right quantity to the right place in accordance to customer needs.
Role: Supply Chain Coordinator
Pay: Up to 30.69 per hour Via Umbrella
Location: Filton – 60% onsite
Contract: Monday- Friday, 35 Hours per week, 4 Months contract
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor purchase orders to ensure alignment to requirements
- Optimise ordering parameters (safety stock/safety time, batch size, reorder point) in line
- with influencing factors (delivery performance, quality performance, economic order
- quantity, demand fluctuation)
- Manage reordering tasks after rejection, scrap/damages
- Monitor and manage delivery forecasts and \’line of balance\’ through regular interaction with suppliers
- Perform monitoring through process performance measures and KPIs (Ordering measures, Missing Parts, Stock KPIs, Level of Service
- Ensure clear and regular communication to all internal customers and that the escalation process is initiated in a timely manner where required to avoid impacts to build through late supply
- Participate in supplier performance reviews/provide performance feedback to supplier

- Follow-up and support troubleshooting for delivery issues, Goods receipt, Technical/Administrative quality notice and invoices
- Analyse MRP and Supply External Product exception messages
- Where required monitor supplier stock and support the Scrap/Sell/transfer process
Essential Skills:

- SAP experince and broad experince with MRP systems

- Experienced working with supply chains
