Shift Pattern:

Monday & Friday 06:00-14:30

Rate of pay:

£13.10

About the role:

We are looking for motivated people who have a keen eye for detail, to join our growing Product Quality Assurance team here at Next.

As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you would be responsible for ensuring that goods delivered to the warehouse meet our high standards of quality, appearance, packaging and labelling, making sure that they compare to our approved samples and documentation. For example, you may inspect garments as they pass through the steam ironing tunnels, helping maintain the presentation and quality of our products.

You will be required to quality check stock thoroughly and ensure if it is fit for purpose and has been recorded correctly, if not you will be required to report the errors by following our minor and major process to differ the different levels of fault.

The ideal candidate would also be required to conduct various audits on the product. These special treatments include:

  • Spot cleaning, ensuring items have been cleaned, and are fit for purpose
  • Checking that damaged used and faulty products have been recorded correctly
  • Ensuring fraudulent items have been logged on the system and raising this to the fraud team so they can investigate further

Part of your day to day duties would also include basic housekeeping, this includes but is not limited to re-stocking hangers / boxes, transporting stock to different areas as required and ensuring rails are filled to help with workflow.
