DSL are looking to add to our Contracts Team with the appointment of a Mechanical Contracts Supervisor. This role will involve managing the contract lifecycle and ensuring the correct communication of requirements internally and externally and ensuring all equipment and materials needed for the project are ordered and available when required.
Your Role:
- Understand the project and its requirements
- Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
- Gather firsthand information from sites
- Use software for analysis, forecasting and budgeting
- Obtain and review offers and quotes from subcontractors and vendors
- Create and submit estimates or bids directly to client or client relationship manager
- Build external relationships with key vendors
- Provide consultation on planning
- Researching, evaluating and sourcing materials, ensuring up to date market knowledge and trends
- Negotiating with suppliers to ensure quality and value to money, building trusted long term working relationships
- Control of site labour
Your Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar commercial focused role
- Commercial heating and ventilation experience
- Proficiency in using technology to support work production/tracking
- Customer service attitude
- Experience of using SimPro would be beneficial
Your Hours:
Working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am till 5.30pm.
