Job Description
FORGE LOGISTICS LTD is a veteran-owned and operated company based in Euxton. We have a long-established relationship with the world\’s largest online retailer and are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team.
What Does The Job Involve?
- Mostly night shifts, subject to change weekly.
- Pure driving — no handling of the load.
- 4 on, 4 off rota (extra days possible depending on your availability).
- Start times vary; flexibility required week-to-week.
- All work scheduled via a dedicated app.
- Thorough vehicle checks.
- Adherence to all driving and working time regulations.
What Do We Offer?
- Mon-Fri, GBP150 per shift; Sat-Sun (and Bank Holidays), GBP165 per shift.
- Full fleet of Iveco CNG trucks (71 and 72 plates).
- Guaranteed pay for cancelled shifts.
- Monthly pay (PAYE).
- Holiday pay and SSP.
- Ongoing training.
What Do I Need?
- ESSENTIAL: held a CE licence for at least 1 year.
- ESSENTIAL: consistent Class 1 work since passing or most recently (minimum 6 months).
- ESSENTIAL: experience of commercial night driving.
- Professionalism: ownership & responsibility.
- An adaptable & overcoming mentality.
