We are recruiting a Business Development and Marketing Manager, to provide effective, strategic business development support with a specific focus on the International Arbitration (IA) practice.
In addition to the business development and marketing responsibilities for International Arbitration, this Manager will also support and manage activities across the Litigation, Regulatory and Tax (LR&T) practice as necessary.
This role can be based out of any of our UK offices but will require regular travel to our London head office or other offices as required, and our standard working hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm, however as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider any flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience at a Manager or Senior Executive level, ideally with experience in International Arbitration or Disputes practice groups
- Experience of annual strategic business planning process, developing and communicating effective BD plans to support and deliver that plan.
- Able to evidence exceptional writing skills, that not only engages audiences, but also displays the depth of technical skillset in a complex sector, across varied mediums (brochures, pitches, content etc).
- Evidence of acting as a trusted advisor – this role requires an individual who can build relationships that will allow them to be proactive and really shape the BD focus of the team.
- Able to work as an individual, to a high standard – this role is ‘stand-alone’ in looking after this practice group– but with support from the wider BD team where needed.
