We currently have an opportunity for a Reward Consultant to join our dedicated People & Culture team based in Exeter or Bristol. Joining us on a full-time, permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary plus excellent benefits.
About the role:
The Reward Consultant plays a pivotal role in shaping the company\’s reward strategy. This role assists the Head of Reward in developing and implementing the reward strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company\’s overall business strategy and objectives.
The role will focus on remuneration of Management and the wider workforce, as well as the benefits offering across the company to ensure that our offering attracts, retains and motivates colleagues across the organisation.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the Group Reward strategy
- Assist in overseeing all compensation and benefits programs, including salary, bonuses, incentives, shares schemes, health benefits and other employee perks
- Assist in the cyclical activities such as annual pay review and annual bonuses
- Engage with business stakeholders in a timely manner to ensure they are fully engaged within the process
- Advise on WTW job benchmarking methodology, and make recommendations based on internal and external pay analysis.
- Lead on pay progression schemes and assist in the development of a pay strategy
- Support the upskilling of the generalist People team with regards to Reward matters.
- Development of a user friendly online Reward Hub for colleagues to ensure easy access to reward and benefits for colleagues, which has high-impact
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal colleagues, Senior Leadership and third party reward and benefit providers
- Contribute to the wider Reward executive agenda where required
- Stay ahead of Reward external trends and legislative changes and bring innovative, evidence-based practices to Pennon
What we are looking for:
- Previous Reward Management experience is essential, within private sector ideally
- Previous experience of flexible benefits solutions would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships at all levels and strong influencing skills
- High attention to detail
- Data-driven: with high level of analytical and numerical skills
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work under pressure and thrive
