We are looking for a motivated and proactive Supply Chain Assistant to join a market-leading team in the Fresh Produce sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or entry-level individual to gain hands-on experience in supply chain and contribute to the company’s successful supply chain operations for retail customers. Role Overview As Supply Chain Assistant, you will be an integral part of the team, helping to optimise and manage the flow of products from suppliers to customers. You will assist in ensuring the smooth and efficient supply of fresh produce, with a focus on operational efficiency and sustainability. Supply Chain Assistant Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and efficiently manage customer requests and amendments * Support Procurement Managers throughout the supply chain process * Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs), Delivery Notes, and Booking References * Communicate with suppliers to confirm product loading and delivery details * Assist in managing inventory and stock control processes Supply Chain Assistant Key Requirements * A recent graduate or entry-level individual with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commercial studies, or related field * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret numerical data * Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork * Proficient in Microsoft Office (essential); experience with Prophet ERP is beneficial * A keen interest in the Fresh Produce or FMCG sector This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leader in the Fresh Produce sector and work alongside an experienced and dynamic team who are eager to share their knowledge, support individuals entering the sector, and help you develop a successful career.
