GCSE & A-Level Science Teacher Leicester (Full-Time or Part-Time)

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to deliver GCSE and A-Level Science at a high-achieving, Ofsted-rated Good school in Leicester. This role is open to both experienced teachers and strong graduates with a passion for Science and education. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging GCSE and A-Level Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.

  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support attainment.

  • Prepare students for exams and coursework assessments, ensuring they reach their full potential.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a strong academic background in Science.

  • Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level Science is desirable.

  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.

  • A passion for education and inspiring young learners.

  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Salary & Working Hours:

  • £162.31 – £251.72 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
