THE OPPORTUNITY

As our company continues to grow, so does our team. We have excellent opportunities for skilled Sewing Machinists to help us manufacture our market-leading strength products. You\’ll be an essential part of our sewing team, working both independently and collaboratively on various projects. Sewing Machinist roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operate industrial sewing machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, consistently meeting high-quality standards and production targets.
  • Expertly manage machine settings, making regular parameter adjustments for various product lines and collaborating with our on-site mechanic to maximise efficiency.
  • Process large volumes of material daily, maintaining exceptional precision and consistency from the first item to the last.
  • Perform detailed stitching tasks, accurately using guides, templates, and patterns for positioning and badge application.
  • Take ownership of quality control by meticulously checking all finished work against the company\’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Contribute to the design process by creating pattern instructions that adhere to strict quality measurements and finishing standards.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on your machine and equipment, taking pride and ownership in its condition and performance.
  • Provide crucial team support by offering flexible cover for colleagues during periods of sickness and holiday absence.
  • Uphold all company policies, with a strong focus on health and safety protocols and specific procedures like the broken needle policy.

SALARY: £25,396.80 HOURS: 40 hours per week LOCATION: Unit 2b Lanchester Way, Advanced Manufacturing Park, Waverley, S60 5FX
