Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home in Weston-super-Mare provides compassionate short- and long-term care for up to 40 residents, including recovery, nursing, and palliative support. Our home is a warm, welcoming place where residents feel valued and supported, and staff are appreciated for the vital role they play.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our close-knit team. Whether you are experienced or new to care, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, make a meaningful difference in residents\’ lives, and be part of a values-led organisation.

What We Offer

  • Β£12.21 per hour
  • Contracted to 18 hours per week
  • Additional Β£2 per hour overtime
  • Paid pension, uniform, and onsite parking
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will DoAs a Care Assistant, you will support residents with their daily routines and help them maintain independence wherever possible. You will follow personalised care plans, assist with personal care, nutrition, and mobility, and ensure residents\’ overall wellbeing is prioritised. Working alongside nurses and the wider care team, you will help create a safe, supportive, and uplifting environment where residents feel comfortable, valued, and happy. Every day will give you the chance to build relationships, bring joy, and make a positive impact on the lives of those you care for.

What We\’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience in care is an advantage, though we welcome those with transferable skills and a strong desire to support others
  • A warm, kind, and patient approach, with the ability to build trusting relationships
  • A genuine passion for caring for older people and working collaboratively as part of a team
