Tesco Colleague – Portishead W Hill Express

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from ÂŁ12.45 an hour; this increases to ÂŁ13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you would like to work fewer hours (minimum 12) we can also consider applications.

About the role
Availability Window: Sun 11:00‑17:00, Mon 19:00‑23:00, Wed 17:00‑23:00. We schedule your contracted hours within these windows and give you three weeks\’ notice of shifts.
You will be responsible for
- Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride.
- Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
- Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
- Applying training to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
- Making decisions that are right for customers.
- Participating in seasonal, community and charity events.
- Understanding the store’s performance and helping drive service, sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
- Handling products with care to maintain quality.
- Living our values, welcoming everyone, and following policies.
- Accepting deliveries into the store when required.
