About the role
In this role you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of live/de-energised conductors, hardware, and structures used in the National Transmission Grid, including as required the erection, repair, and/or dismantling of assets. You will follow work to all and safety procedures as well as statutory requirements.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a minimum 40 hours a week guaranteed. While this role will be based in Hawke\’s Bay you\’ll be required to work across the wider central North Island area.

This role will be paying between $35 to $40 NZD per hour

About You
• Minimum 3 years experience in Transmission Lines work in New Zealand
• Must hold an EWRB Line Mechanic Trainee Limited Certificate
• Testing and Electrical Safety
• Experience climbing transmission towers and or similar
• Valid driver’s license and experience driving appropriate vehicles on all roads, terrain, and weather conditions
• Excellent attitude to SHEQ
• Physically fit especially with regards to heavy lifting, stretching, and climbing
• Comfortability with working at heights
