About the Role

As a Lecturer in Travel and Tourism, you’ll deliver engaging and innovative teaching across a range of further and higher education programmes. You’ll play a key role in curriculum development, student support, and course leadership, ensuring learners are equipped with the skills and knowledge to thrive in the sector.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A relevant degree or Level 3 professional qualification in Travel and Tourism (or related field)
  • A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one (funded by the College)
  • Experience in a lecturing or training role within FE/HE
  • Subject expertise and up-to-date industry knowledge
  • Experience of using innovative teaching and learning techniques

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Travel and Tourism programmes
  • Develop engaging learning materials and contribute to curriculum planning
  • Lead and coordinate course teams and support students throughout their learning journey
  • Participate in recruitment, enrolment, and student guidance activities
  • Contribute to quality assurance, course verification, and departmental self-assessment
