The Role

Temporary Maintenance, Cleaning & Landscaping Technician (Part-Time)
Location: Southport
Contract Duration:Until 30th September 2025
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Shift Pattern: Rotating 2-week schedule, 20 hours per week
  • Week 1: 2 days per week
  • Week 2: 3 days per week
  • Hours: 07:30 – 16:3

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Cleaning and maintaining car park areas, including litter picking and emptying bins
  • Carrying out general site maintenance, minor repairs, and landscaping (gardening, weeding, basic DIY)
  • Setting up signs and cones for parking suspensions and temporary restrictions
  • Conducting routine maintenance on pay-and-display machines, reporting faults, and keeping them clean
  • Using and maintaining company equipment for daily tasks
  • Gritting entrances to car parks in cold weather
  • Assisting with any other reasonable tasks as requested
What We’re Looking For:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, in all-weather condition
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance and cleaning tasks
  • Full UK driving licence
Preferred Experience & Skills:
  • Experience in maintenance, landscaping, or a similar role
  • Basic DIY and gardening knowledge
  • Awareness of Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH & Manual Handling
