The Governors of St John Bosco RC Primary School, Blackley, Manchester, is seeking to appoint a Special Educational Needs Coordinator to support our children & families.

Our new SENDCo will lead and manage provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring compliance with statutory guidance, promoting inclusive practices and working collaboratively with staff, parents and external professionals to help our children achieve their full potential. Our SENDCo will also teach the Year 2 class for part of the week.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to contribute to an inclusive, supportive learning environment while furthering their leadership experience in SEND provision.

About the Candidate

Our successful candidate will be confident, knowledgeable and skilled in the area of SEN provision.
Your work will make a positive impact on the lives of our children, and the smooth running of our school. Under your guidance and direction, our staff will learn about the importance of meeting the needs of pupils effectively and efficiently, and develop an in-depth awareness of intervention provision.

Full support and handover will be provided to the successful candidate.
