The Role

We are seeking a creative and strategic Senior Recruiter – Programme Design to join our Emerging Talent. In this role, you will be responsible for designing engaging and future-focused early talent programmes that support the development, retention, and growth of emerging professionals across our organisation.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for learning and talent development who can shape and build high-impact programmes from the ground up.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design and develop structured Early Careers programmes (e.g., for the UK – Graduate Directs, Switch Leadership, internal HiPo Programme and the new Leadership Enterprise Skills Accelerator Programme for Germany, there may be others) that align with business goals and talent strategies.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., business leads, HR, L&D) to identify capability needs and co-create learning journeys.
  • Ensure programmes reflect the latest in adult learning, DEI principles, and digital-first experiences.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to pilot, launch, and iterate on programmes.
  • Monitor market trends and bring innovative ideas to the table.
  • Build toolkits, playbooks, and resources to support local implementation where needed.

About You

  • Proven experience in programme or curriculum design, ideally in Early Careers or Learning & Development in the UK market.
  • Deep understanding of the needs and expectations of early talent.
  • Creative mindset with strong design thinking and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools, platforms, and content creation is a plus.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Programme Design Expertise – Demonstrated experience in designing early talent programmes such as internships, graduate schemes, apprenticeships, or returnships, with a focus on learner journey, assessment, and experience design.
  • Learning & Development Design – Strong understanding of adult learning principles, curriculum development, and blended learning methods. Experience with digital learning tools and content design is a plus.
  • Creative Problem-Solving – Ability to take abstract ideas or business needs and translate them into structured, engaging and scalable programme models.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Experience collaborating with HR, business leaders, recruitment teams and external providers to co-create and align programme goals.
  • Research & Insight-Driven Approach – Comfortable conducting benchmarking, analysing feedback and using data to inform design decisions.
  • Strong Communication Skills – Able to communicate ideas clearly and influence decision-makers through storytelling, visuals, and compelling documentation.
  • Project Management Literacy – While this isn’t a PM role, a basic understanding of timelines, interdependencies, and programme governance is useful.
  • DEI Awareness – A solid grasp of inclusive design principles to ensure programmes meet the needs of diverse candidate pools and align with organisational values.
  • User-Centric Mindset – Passion for creating meaningful experiences for early talent, with attention to the onboarding journey, skills progression, and long-term impact.
