Roles Summary/Purpose:
Reporting to the gate 2 production cell leader in the component repair blending area. The ability to blend defects from precision aircraft engine components for engine overhaul, assembly, and test. Work unsupervised while maintaining a safe working environment and producing high quality components.
Responsibilities
- Utilise equipment and tools to perform various tasks including hand and power blending of engine components.
- Etching reworked areas of engine components.
- Vibratory cleaning of engine components.
- Use of measuring equipment and be able to inspect engine components.
- Precise attention to detail and a high level of concentration.
- Good manual dexterity.
- PC work including working with OEM manuals.
- Flexible and willing to move within other Gate 2 semi-skilled processes as required by the business requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience of blending operations desired.
- Ability to work on own or as part as a team
