Senior Acoustic Consultant Location: London (remote working with site visits) Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 An established and forward-thinking consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Acoustic Consultant with a strong background in either environmental or building acoustics. Based in London, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and design-led environment. The Opportunity You’ll be joining a dynamic team of acousticians working on a wide range of projects across the commercial, residential, education, cultural and mixed-use sectors. The company takes a modern, people-focused approach to consultancy, valuing creativity, quality, and long-term relationships with clients. The Role This role will involve: Providing technical advice on building acoustics from planning through to completion Conducting environmental and building acoustic assessments Preparing detailed reports and design documentation Undertaking on-site testing and acoustic modelling using tools such as CadnaA or ODEON Working closely with architects, engineers, and developers on innovative project deliveryThe Ideal Candidate We\’re looking for someone who has: At least 4 years’ experience in acoustic consultancy (strong graduates will also be considered) A degree in acoustics or a related field Knowledge of key standards and guidelines (BB93, BS8233, BS4142 etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills A proactive and collaborative attitudeProgress toward or attainment of Chartered status is a bonus, though not essential.
