Summary: We are delighted to be working on behalf of a specialist manufacturer in their search for a Project Program Manager In this role, you will lead the management and delivery of key contract and project objectives. You’ll be responsible for guiding the business through critical project and programme phases — from initiation and planning through execution, manufacturing, and final delivery to the customer or internal stakeholders. You will also take ownership of bid management, continuous improvement initiatives, and driving forward product enhancements and variations. Key responsibilities: * Define and lead project scopes, objectives, and plans while involving all critical parties and ensuring commercial and technical viability. * Oversee adherence to internal procurement practices and ensure all activities comply with regulatory and quality standards. * Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve smooth project execution. * Review, analyse, and report on budgets, cost forecasts, and resource allocations. * Develop and maintain project documentation including timelines, budgets, risk registers, and reporting dashboards. * Assign tasks, monitor team progress, and implement corrective actions when necessary. * Track deliverables, assess milestones, and communicate progress via detailed reporting. * Manage uncertainty through structured risk assessment and implementation of mitigation plans. * Facilitate communication across departments and external stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment. * Take full ownership of allocated projects, ensuring delivery to schedule, budget, and required quality. * Interpret contractual documentation to ensure complete understanding of programme obligations. * Lead planning, prioritisation, and monitoring of multiple projects, maintaining alignment with business goals. * Organise and lead key project reviews including design, progress, and stakeholder meetings. * Provide structured reporting on programme issues, priorities, and risks to internal and external parties. * Monitor project financials and adjust plans as needed to maintain financial health. * Foster effective working relationships with customers, team members, and suppliers to deliver high client satisfaction. Ideal Candidate * Bachelor\’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (Master’s desirable). * APM certification or equivalent training in project management methodologies. * Demonstrated experience managing complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects. * Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of successful programme delivery. * Solid financial and commercial acumen, including contract and scope control. * Familiarity with resource planning tools such as MS Project and Earned Value Management. * Experience working directly with clients and managing customer expectations.
