Role Overview We\’re excited to offer a new opportunity for a Principal or Associate Sustainability Consultant in London. You\’ll contribute to a dynamic and forward-thinking team that leads the industry in sustainable design, construction, and building operations. This role offers a unique chance to shape your career and influence the future of sustainability in the built environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver high-profile projects for top-tier clients. Manage project teams, delegate tasks, and oversee quality of work. Mentor junior consultants and support their development. Prepare fee proposals and manage invoicing. Facilitate client and design team workshops, communicating clearly and effectively. Conduct technical analyses including: Embodied carbon and circular economy assessments Building performance simulations Operational energy and renewable energy evaluations Overheating and thermal comfort modelling Develop and implement sustainability and energy strategies. Oversee environmental assessments (e.g., BREEAM, WELL, HQM) from concept to completion. Drive initiatives toward net zero whole-life carbon outcomes. Participate in research and development to maintain our industry-leading expertise. About You You bring experience and passion for sustainability in the built environment, with expertise in areas such as: Energy strategy development Part L compliance using tools like Elmhurst and IES In-use energy modelling Thermal comfort and overheating assessments Planning support and net zero carbon strategiesIdeal candidates will have: A relevant degree and consultancy experience in sustainability or engineering.
