Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Team Leader to join Paragon\’s client site, a leading multinational insurance company based in Sheffield.
The Deputy Team Leader will support onsite services across various teams, requiring flexibility to work within the team and to step up as acting Team Leader during absences.
Hours: Monday to Friday, either 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm
Main duties include:
- Deliver services meeting SLAs and quality standards
- Support the Team Leader in managing and training the team
- Ensure processes are followed and escalate issues as needed
- Represent Paragon professionally and positively
- Provide technical support and assist colleagues flexibly
- Handle escalated client issues promptly and keep the Team Leader informed
- Contribute to team performance reviews with constructive feedback
- Assist in maintaining service coverage during absences
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and resolve escalated enquiries
- Adhere to operational, Paragon, and Aviva policies
- Follow safe working practices and maintain a tidy, safe workspace
- Identify and implement improvements in quality or service
- Manage stock levels and report equipment issues
- Perform other duties as assigned and cover Team Leader duties in their absence
