The role involves purchasing a wide range of electronic components, from PCBAs to console assembly level, with daily use of the MRP system. You will manage supplier relationships, seek new suppliers, or improve existing ones, and monitor supplier performance with support from the Head of Supply Chain as needed.
You\’ll be part of a small purchasing team focused on electronics. Your voice will be heard, and you\’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas to improve the department.
The Candidate: Technical Buyer
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, involved in electronic and electrical component purchasing, with most of the following skills and experience:
- Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication abilities.
- A good understanding of suppliers involved in electronic and electrical procurement.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (specific system not required).
