We are looking for a professional and motivated Residential Conveyancing Secretary to support fee earners in the progression and management of conveyancing matters. This role involves working closely with conveyancers and clients to ensure transactions are handled efficiently, accurately, and with exceptional service. What’s on Offer? Job Type: Permanent Salary: Up to £30kp/a Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm Location: Eastbourne Key Responsibilities: Open and manage new client files, ensuring all identification is verified in line with regulations. Prepare and process a range of legal documents, including contracts, client care packs, and search requests, in accordance with established procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using case management and ledger systems. Provide proactive administrative support to fee earners to assist with the progression and completion of conveyancing matters. Manage incoming telephone calls and client enquiries promptly, delivering a professional and helpful service at all times. Deal with file-related queries from clients and other parties, both in person and over the phone. Liaise with clients, introducers, and third parties to ensure smooth communication and a high standard of service delivery. Support the lifecycle of each case by reviewing, archiving, and closing files in a timely and compliant manner. Take responsibility for managing your own workload efficiently, meeting deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and productivity.
