HSE Advisor- Angus The Role The HSE Advisor will be responsible for maintenance of compliance/certification to ISO 45001 / 14001. Chance to be a key component within an engineering company and drive their HSE standards forward. Responsibilities * Assist Quality Advisor with internal, supplier, client and third-party audits. * Chair HSE Committee meeting. * Conducting safety inductions for all new employees and site visitors. * Conducting regular workshop inspections. * Responsible for the control of QHSE Compliance system (Mango), in line with company IMS, administration covered mainly by QHSE Administrator. * Observation Cards system – providing feedback on actions/responses. * Production of COSHH, RISK and PUWER Assessments as required. * Responsibility for the control of metal working fluids providing recommendations to workshop supervision as required. * Facilitate regular QHSE Tool-Box Talks and/or IMS training as required. * Chair QHSE Committee meeting and prepare minutes. * Identifying trends from monthly HSE statistics and advising on continual improvement opportunities. * Responsibility for the control of third-party contractors in line with IMS permit system. * Conducting safety inductions for all new employees and site visitors. * Conducting regular workshop inspections and liaise with workshop supervision with any findings. * Maintenance of Emergency Response procedures, including fire drills, fire equipment service requirements, risk assessments, etc. * Ensuring all QHSE Tours are completed as per schedule and following up all actions assigned. * Control of HAVs Monitoring system (Reactec), providing feedback on compliance. * Attendance at project pre-production meetings and liaising with client inspectors/ representatives on various project HSE matters as required. * Monthly reporting to the senior management. * Develop and Maintain environmental aspects and impacts register, ensuring that all risks are controlled as far as reasonably practicable and communicated to interested parties. * Production of Risk Assessments for new risks identified, and review of existing risks. * Lead all incident/accident investigations. * Provide ongoing assistance with the development and implementation of the Integrated Management System, including continuous improvement processes. * Mentor QHSE Administrator.
