Mech Tech Professionals currently require a competent Appointed Person/Lifting Engineer for a temporary project based in Chester. Our client require a skilled professional to start immediately. This project will be within the Aircraft manufacturing sector. Duration: Up to 3 months (subject to change) Shift Pattern & Working hours: Monday to Friday (approx. 47 hours per week) Payment method to be dicussed Key Responsibilities: 🔺 Use AutoCAD software to plan and manage complex lifting operations 🔺 Provide customers with advise during the planning and execution phases 🔺 Ad-hoc duties with both crane and rigging/fleeting operations 🔺 Ensure the highest level of Health & Safety is adhered to at all times 🔺 Understand and interpret project briefs & identify any issues 🔺 Liaise with Project Managers on a consistent basis 🔺 Ensure compliance is constantly reviewed and updated Requirements: 🔺 Appointed Person (CPCS A61 qualified) 🔺 A Mechanical Engineering qualification or similar (HNC or above) 🔺 CITB Construction Skills HS&E (Desirable) 🔺 Competent with AutoCAD 🔺 NEBOSH or IOSH certification (Desired) 🔺 Experience with reviewing/signing off lift plans & Rigging drawings etc. 🔺 Proficient Technical and industry knowledge
