Job Title: K9 Security Dog Handler Location: Northamptonshire, NN6 Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off – Days and Nights About Us Our client is a forward-thinking, privately-owned company and a leading provider of professional, integrated, bespoke security and facilities management services. They deliver flexible and scalable solutions across diverse sectors, including educational settings, healthcare, corporate estate management, warehouse/distribution, retail parks, and more. We are currently seeking 4 experienced General Purpose (GP) Dog Handlers to join our client security team, providing 24/7 coverage around extensive estate grounds in Northamptonshire (NN6 area). Key Responsibilities: * Carrying out proactive and thorough patrols of the estate grounds * Monitoring CCTV systems and responding to suspicious activity * Alarm response to fire, intruder, or CCTV activations * Escorting visitors and monitoring contractors on site * Completing incident reports and liaising with the control room when required Requirements: * NASDU Level 2 GP accreditation (must be current and valid) * Up-to-date vet records for the working dog * Vehicle equipped for K9 duties * A valid SIA Licence * Demonstrable experience in working within a security dog handler role * Excellent communication and observation skills Site Facilities: * Full amenities provided including office space, kitchen, and toilets City Group is committed to equal opportunities.
