JOB TITLE: Quality Data Admin Assistant LOCATION: Near Hailsham, East Sussex REPORTING TO: Quality Manager EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent SALARY: Competitive, DOE MUST HAVE THE APPROPRITAE RIGHT TO WORK DOCUMENTATION IN PLACE AS OUR CLIENT IS UNABLE TO OFFER SPONSORSHIP ABOUT THE ROLE Recruitment South East is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based near Hailsham, East Sussex, for a Quality Data Admin Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This position supports the company’s Quality department, helping ensure data is recorded accurately and procedures are followed to maintain high standards across production and delivery. Ideal for someone organised, detail-focused, and confident, managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform accurate and efficient data entry Maintain and organise digital and physical office records Support internal teams to ensure that on-time delivery targets are met Provide general administrative assistance to the Quality Department Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders when required Support the enforcement of process compliance and documentation control Assist with resolving queries in a timely and professional manner ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Proven experience in administrative and/or data entry roles Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Confident with Microsoft Office and general office systems Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment Familiarity with machining and assembly processes Understanding of quality control and production support practices QUALIFICATIONS Required: Minimum A-Level or equivalent Desirable: Degree-level qualification preferred but not essential PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Deadline-driven and proactive Strong problem-solving skills Decisive and confident in communication Able to build effective relationships across departments If you’re looking to secure a permanent role within a quality-focused manufacturing environment and bring excellent admin skills to the table, we’d love to hear from you.
