CK Group are recruiting for a Medical Devices Clinical Safety Scientist, to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry, on a contract basis for 12 months.  Salary: Hourly: £33.58 PAYE or £45 LTD/ Umbrella – this role is outside IR35. Medical Devices Clinical Safety Scientist Role: Lead & contribute to the development of safety processes for medical devices (MD). Support Clinical Safety resource upskilling for MDs and influence of external landscape/stakeholders. Provide ad hoc consultation to safety teams on MD related matters as appropriate. Your Background: Relevant MD safety expertise, along with an understanding of drug safety/pharmacovigilance, to ensure the integration of MD activities into the broader pharmacovigilance landscape. Previous Healthcare, Scientific or biomedical research background with clinical safety experience with the use of MDs and/or combination products in the pharmaceutical/biotech or MD industry. Knowledge of relevant MD regulations and industry standards. Demonstrable knowledge of MD clinical safety and relevant areas of science.  Company: Our client is one of the world\’s premier innovative biopharmaceutical companies, discovering, developing and providing over 160 different medicines, vaccines and consumer healthcare products to help improve the lives of millions of people in the UK and around the world every year.
