Proactive Personnel are looking for HGV CLASS 1 DRIVERS with 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE to work for an established client in the Warrington area. You will be doing 1-3 store deliveries for 05:00 AND 16:00 starts any day from Monday to Sunday are available. Morning Shifts will be chilled goods and afternoons will be 16:00 trunks with dry ambient goods. FREE ONSITE CANTEEN FOR DRIVERS BEFORE AND AFTER SHIFTS WEEKENDS ONLY AVAILABLE MONDAY TO FRIDAY AVAILABLE ADHOC SHIFTS AVAILABLE Responsibilities * Safely operate a Tail lift vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations. * Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. * Ensuring the chilled system is working and on * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues as necessary. * Load and unload goods with an electric pump truck, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. * Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Experience * Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. * A valid commercial driving licence is essential for this position. * Familiarity with operating flatbed vehicles is advantageous. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members.
